Best burritos I've had out of all the places I've tried in new england. I've never been disappointed.

Family owned...which is always a good feeling to support but sadly I wasn't impressed at all. Initial chips and guacamole presentation was lacking. The chips weren't even warm - which warm chips gives higher stars. Their guacamole seemed off. It was very watery...typically means they weren't ripe. It didn't have that sweet ripened finish.
I went ahead and ignored the mess/ dirty factor. I ordered their steak quesadilla. The steak was dry and hard - rice and beans were just fine. I ordered the quesadilla...instead the young man rolls up the tortilla into a burrito. I didn't order a burrito. I was expecting a flattened tortilla put back onto the grill...for a final crispy finish. Sorry to say I didn't get it. 3 stars for a decent burrito. -

Terrible service, restaurant was filthy. Menu was hard to read and the workers were extremely rude to non-hispanic customers.
My cousin and I went there at 7:30 pm and they had at least half a dozen empty bins in the food assembly line. I ended up eating a shitty taco al pastor WITHOUT cheese because the asshole server has ADD and took my order then the two other people behind me. He was an obnoxious little twit who answered my questions with rude questions.
The large, lazy dude at the cash register was more interested in his spanish speaking workers, and his cell phone. I didn't tip because the service and food was awful. I joked with my cousin that he was using Über to get cheese and other ingredients to the bar. Because GOD forbid any of the four workers there knew anything about running a business.
Never going back and I am telling all my friends to skip this "restaurant" and go to the one up River Street for quality food, service, and atmosphere.
They close at 9 pm, and had a steady line of customers who either have little money or make bad life choices like my cousin and I did. There was no reason for this lack of good work ethic. -

Came in during snow storm on 1/20/19 sure enough they were open all the plow trucks parked out front they knew where to go for a quick fix.
Food was great as always
In and out with quesadillas in hand and smile on my face couldn't be a better way to spend a snow storm day in but with Tacos Lupita's quesadillas -

I've come here several times, and will continue to come back. The food here makes me miss living in Mexico!
While many restaurants claim to be authentic and take folks for fools because they don't know any better...
This restaurant is not one of these.
It is consistently delicious, never dry or old ingredients. The dishes are large and you definitely get an excellent value.
